Which cookies Traceify sets, what they do, and how long they last.
1. Summary
Traceify sets three cookies. All of them are needed to sign you in or to complete verification. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we load no third party scripts, fonts or images, so there is nothing to opt out of and no cookie banner.
2. The cookies
| Name | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| __Host-traceify_session | Keeps server staff signed in to the dashboard | 2 hours |
| __Host-traceify_oauth | Protects the Discord sign in against forgery | 10 minutes |
| __Host-traceify_verify | Carries your verification step from our page to Discord and back | 10 minutes |
Each cookie is HttpOnly (scripts on the page cannot read it), Secure, SameSite Lax, and limited to traceify.win. The contents are encrypted and signed by our server.
3. Why no consent is asked
These cookies are strictly necessary to provide something you asked for, which is signing in or verifying. Under the ePrivacy rules such cookies do not need your consent.
4. Removing them
Signing out of the dashboard deletes the session cookie. You can delete all three in your browser settings at any time. If you do, you will have to sign in or start verification again.
